TOM
I have received the book you wish to borrow in the post. If you are in your dormitory I can bring it to you, otherwise I will be doing homework in the Common Room and you may come get it at your leisure. Or I could bring it to you, whichever you would prefer.
I could also leave it on your bed. Or bring it to lunch. Do let me know.

WARDED TO STUDENTS
For those of you not in NEWT level Muggle Tolerance, we have been having quite a discussion this week on Obliviation (specifically with filt muggles, as that is when it is most often used), though I do wish the class was larger so we could hear a number of other opinions.
Our homework for this week is to compile a list of examples where altering a muggle's memory is appropriate, and while I have a number of ideas, this is not a fully objective assignment and therefore I am always interested to hear others' thoughts on the matter and gain a greater understanding of the topic. Here are a few of my ideas:
- A muggle observes wizarding children displaying accidental magic.
- A simple wizard recklessly uses magic in front of muggles.
- A criminal hexes and curses muggles.
- An incident not unlike the recent one in Ilfracombe a decade back.
- A lascivious muggle male attempts to attack a witch.
While I am writing up my ideas in order to encourage discussion, if anyone in my class attempts to simply plagarise, I will be extremely displeased.
